How to Register for MUNA

 

1. Counsellor Registration (FORM A)

 

It is very important that the counsellor registers FIRST before any of their students can register.  This is so that our system can link the students to the correct counsellor when the students are subsequently registered (Form B).

 

 

Directions for Counsellor registration:

  1. Review the registration Instructions (#1) (see below)
  2. Select the correct Package (#2)
  3. Complete Contact Info (#3) then submit

 

More than ONE DELEGATION:

  1. IF a counsellor is bringing more than one delegation to MUNA he/she must re-register themselves AGAIN using Form A
  2. IMPORTANT: In tab #3 Contact Info assign a number for EACH counsellor registration (i.e. Counsellor Name #1, Counsellor Name #2, etc.).  Important when student registrations are submitted. 
  3. When completing the students registrations (Form B) (see below) ensure that the correct counsellor # is selected. See bottom of FORM B “Counsellor Information”.
  4. IF the counsellor is bringing more than one delegation and has previously registered as staying at CMU – DO NOT SELECT A PACKAGE (as this has already been done for the 1st registration). Scroll down to the bottom and select “None”.

 

IF you are from out of town:

  • – Be sure to indicate how many nights of lodging is needed at CMU: 2 nights; or 3 nights if staying over Saturday night. Choose single or double occupancy. 
  • – Once you have selected a package, the cost will be shown at the bottom. Please review all information before pressing “submit”.

 

 

2. Student Registration (FORM B)

 

  1. Some counsellors choose to register themselves before their students have been selected so as to receive a country assignment. This is acceptable.
  2. Once students for a delegation have been selected, register the delegation using FORM B. It is preferable that the counsellor completes the registration for the sake of consistency.
  3. Please ensure that gender and food allergies are indicated as well as student emails.
  4. IMPORTANT: Under “Counsellor Information” select the correct counsellor’s name or school (remember that the school/counsellor may have a number (Counsellor Name #1, Counsellor Name #2, etc)
    1. For out of town students requiring housing at CMU select the correct student package (All students are double occupancy).
    2. For Winnipeg delegations and those students who will not be staying at CMU select “Winnipeg Teams”.

 

OTHER REGISTRATIONS: 

For registrations from Sponsoring Rotary Clubs or Sponsoring Schools, when counsellor has not yet been selected,  please contact the MUNA registrar for assistance:  mjmarkesteyn@shaw.ca

 

 

INVOICES for Counsellors & Students:  

WILL BE SENT TO THE COUNSELLOR’S EMAIL IN JANUARY 2020.  IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE COUNSELLOR TO DIRECT THE INVOICE TO THE APPROPRIATE PERSON OR OFFICE.

The Waiver Form has to be filled in by all participants and/or their guardians. The counsellors also have to sign a waiver. Incomplete and/or unsigned waiver forms will not be accepted. Click here to download and print the Waiver form Please print, sign and return via:

  • This form has to be remitted before April 1, 2020
The final registration deadline is April 1, 2020. The deadline is critical for the completion of arrangements including lodging assignments.   Note: Fees must be paid before final registration is confirmed. Full refunds will be made if cancellations are made by April 1. Cancellations after April 1 and up to 2 weeks before MUNA will be subject to a $50 charge. No refunds the last 2 weeks before the start of MUNA, since final commitments have been made.
